Daytona D60 summer champs!RACING IN A SERIES

Were Possible Adrian has been attending races in the Daytona D60 Summer champs. Raced over an hour it is a gruelling series

Was held on a wet 3rd of May. Tentative in the rain he had a steady rather than spectacular race. Driving in the Heavy division on the 900m GP track his best time of 67.793 seconds shaved 3 seconds off his personal best in the wet. 5th in class was a fair result after starting from the back of the grid. 

Round 3

Being away for round 2 Adrian rejoined the series for the third outing on the 5th of July. Conditions were far better than for the first round with only the odd spot of rain on an otherwise good racing day. Tentative again after a couple of months lay off Adrian started again near the back of the grid. Even so growing confidence had him putting in a best lap time of 54.230 seconds, a full second and a half better tha he had managed before. Finally he was fourth in class, agonisingly close to a podium finis. Maybe next time....
