Wet in the sun!Black Flagged!

Round 5 and a very frustrating day! It all started under glorious sunshine....

Earlier rain had made the track very treacherous. Despite this qualifying went well, with adrian manageing to post a time that put him midfield on a full grid, despite the almost constant yellow flags that disrupted the session.

Perhaps it was unfortunate that the sun continued to shine, as things did not continue so well!

The track remained slick for the first half of the race. This caused many spins for most competitors. Recovering from one of these Adrian clipped another racer and was black flagged for a drive through penalty. It may have been unintentional, but it was very costly for time. This was compounded a few laps later when a miscommunication from a marshal caused Adrian to enter the pitlane again for a penalty directed at another competitor.

All in all, although fun as ever it was a frustrating hour on the track that did little to advance Adrians standings in the championship.
