More from The summer Champs!Still sunny out therel

Round 5 was likely to be Adrians last outing of the D60 Summer Championships once, this time being held on the GP layout at Daytona Sandown Park, the first time that he has raced this circuit in quite some time.

Once more the weather was kind in this series, despite clouds and a few spots of rain the track remained dry. Surprisingly the grid was only half full, with experienced racers throughout.

Qualification went as expected. Given the quality of the competition and a few too many treats over the summer layoff it was a place at the back of the grid!

This proved to be the case for the whole race, although some positives could be drawn from the morning.

Once more Adrian managed to post a personal best for this layout of 54.066, two tenths down of his previous best. More marked was the continuing growth in conistency with an average lap time of 55.135, 2.3 seconds down on his previous race on the GP circuit.

Next will be the Winter Championships starting in November. Details will follow!!
