Sebastien triumphant at sponsored
kart Hundreds raised for charity!
Today Sebastien undertook
his kart for charity at Daytona Sandown Park on the
Indy track.

total raised: £336.50
He Has been practicing for months to put in as many laps as possible
during the session. The weather was fine in the late afternoon.
After the safety briefing Sebastien took to his kart winding
out of the pits and onto the track to begin his run.
The
first few laps are run
under the yellow flag to allow the drivers to settle into their task.
It was a full grid with 10 drivers, all of whom were considerable older
than Sebastien.
He started out cautiously, looking for the best line around the
circuit, before gradually winding up his speed.
By the end his best lap was a brilliant 41.076 seconds. A quite
remarkable 13.33 seconds faster than he has ever gone around
the track before, which just proves how committed to this endeavor
Sebastien was.
His fastest speed was 31 mph and he achieved 28 laps in the allotted
time.
After the race was over Sebastien was presented with a trophy to mark
his achievement.
